I'm going to go ahead & warn you now (in case you didn't catch it from the title):
there are going to be A LOT of pictures!
You have been warned. Be thankful I am not posting every single one that I took!
For us it was a Program for Jamie & Graduation for Kayla.
For us it was a Program for Jamie & Graduation for Kayla.
Last day of the school year. Every school morning, the girls wake up to their Monkey Okay-to-Wake Clocks. Then they meet me in the kitchen & while they listen to Good Morning by Mandisa & TobyMac & Good Morning George from Veggie Tales, I fix their breakfast. While they eat, I read a story from their Kids Bible & then that day's Jesus Calling for Kids. Ironically enough, the verse for May 8's Jesus Calling for Kids was also the Bible verse Kayla was to say in her graduation: I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. ~Philippians 4:13
All dolled up & ready for their Program & Graduation.
Sweet Sisters
HAD to get their picture by my purple flowers!
Oh I love these two!!!!
We made Good Bye happies for our friends: it was a bag of popcorn with a note attached.
Each child was asked to bring a finger food for the fellowship after the Program & Graduation. I made 2 plates of Confetti Cookies. They were pretty tastey!
We also put together happies for our teachers.
Gree, Daddy, Mommy (represented by the empty chair...I was taking the picture), Nonnie, & Pappaw were able to make it for the Program & Graduation. Poppie had to go on a work trip & was very upset to miss it, but Gree videoed the whole thing for him to watch.
Our director, Ms. Cheryle, opening the Program & Graduation
The preacher of the church where Mother's Day Out/Preschool is located, Bro. Ken Culver, prayed before we got started.
The stage is all set
Where's Kayla? Her class did very well sitting & watching (patiently waiting) the younger kids do their parts in the program while waiting for their graduation.
The 1-year-old class (we didn't personally have anyone in this class).
Jamie waving when she spotted us.
Ms. Angela & Ms. Robin were amazing teachers with the 2-year-old class (which had 2s & 3s in it)!
The whole 2-year-old class.
Jamie never quit swinging her feet while she was sitting in that chair. It was too cute!
"If you're happy & you know it, shout amen." Jamie was really into her AMEN!

Kayla: "My name is Kayla Grace Reeves & when I grow up I want to be a Zoo Keeper."
Ms. Nikki putting on Kayla's cap.
"Now look at me, I'm up to here & my I've learned a lot this year. In fact, you think I'm really great. That's why I get to graduate."

I love that the kids sang their names and said what they wanted to be when they grow up. LOVE the "zoo keeper!" :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, a yearbook? Too cute!
