This post is going to be a lot of extreme randomness.
Wednesday mid-morning, my mouth started hurting on the left bottom side behind my last tooth. It started as just a nagging aggravated pain. But every time I would move my mouth in any way (ex, talk chew, drink), the pain became more noticeable. By lunch I was complaining that I was in pain & by the time I went to bed, it was BAD! I decided to stop by the dentist office on my way to work & was more than willing to have to sit & wait patiently since I didn't have an appointment just so long as I could be seen & get some relief. I was beyond thankful that I had charged my Kindle a couple of days before:
I ended up not having to wait long at all & was at work only about 15-20 minutes late. Apparently I have eaten something that has "poked" my gum to irritate it & caused a divot/opening. I have been given an antibiotic in hopes that no infection sets in from getting something into the opening & something for pain.
The something for pain explains the randomness of this post.
FYI: this started out as Thursday Randomness........
.......but pain meds = I was sleepy & dosed off every time I got still Thursday evening.
.....speaking of Thursday: where were my Throwback Thursday Link Up peeps???? Since I didn't see any of the link up bloggers post, here's my May 2 Throwback Thursday
Sometimes it scares me the things I don't remember........

.....this photo surfaced yesterday on the Facebook page of the White Hall Journal. That was when I was chosen as 1998-1999 Student of the Year (have NO CLUE how that happened....STILL shocked!). It was my Senior Year.
I am sooooooo blah today......
......when you're either loopy-sleepy OR in pain from an issue in your mouth AND your weather looks like this....
......it gets label as a blah day.
.....but why am I surprised???? It is Memphis in May Music Festival weekend, which it almost always rains for. I'm not going, but it seriously almost always rain.
There have been things to give me joy today......
.....my quiet time with God
.......I got a text from my Momma today. This always makes my heart smile, no matter what she says in the text.
.....I saw this on my Facebook wall this morning:
......I have seen prayers people have specifically asked me to pray about be answered (I keep them in a written in a journal so I can continue to pray of them AND document when they're answered with my memory & all)
..........apparently I've had some sort of issue like this before, but I do NOT remember it. The joys of having no memory, AT ALL!
.......I HAVE to laugh at myself & give it to God cause if I don't, I start worrying & getting paranoid that I'll end up with Alzheimer's (at an EARLY age) & not remember who these people are that I live with before those two little cuties graduate high school. But we serve an awesome & mighty God. If anything like that does happen, He WILL take care of me.
.......and God does tell us in Luke 12:25-26, 31 "Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why worry about the rest?" "But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well."
The Pink Palace Museum of Memphis is offering a FREE membership for the summer.....
....& I took advantage!!!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these girls!!!!!
To quote what a patient said today.........
..........."You know you're in the country when you hear cows mooing at work"
...........yep, we had a truck drive by hauling cows somewhere. Recently taking pain meds = this was really funny to me when we heard the cows and when the guy said what he said.

What a bummer about your mouth! I hope it heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteI totally miss hearing the cows and seeing corn fields randomly throughout town... I lived in a pretty small town... Is it obvious? :)
