This Week's All Things Healthier Lifestyle

Oppppssss.....I totally missed last week. Sorry about that! How am I supposed to rely on you guys for support & encouragement if I don't tell ya what's going on.
 
Anywho!
 
The Weigh-In
 
 
So you see what happened there???? As of yesterday, I have logged in to My Fitness Pal for 275 days in a row. That's some serious commitment to weight loss, shaping up, & toning it, right?
 
I am down 34 lbs in that 275 days. I have been looking at the same number on the scale for a long time now. I am not as concerned with the number on the scale as much any more as I am with shaping up & toning it (my tummy that is). So on April 3, I decided to start measuring my waist, which I so wish I would have started doing this sooner cause now I'm all curious to see how far I've really come. From April 3 to today, I've lost 7 inches!!!! EXCITING!!!!!!!

I LOVE food. Here is where my problem happens when it comes to the healthier lifestyle. My only saving grace in this area is that I am awesome at portion control.
 
Here is just a sampling to represent how I have eaten in the last 2 weeks:

This is what my plate looks like whenever we have a Fish dinner.
 

Our last Fish dinner (not this past week, but the last), I had this for dessert. We don't always do dessert for our Fish dinners.


The Lenny's Club on Kaiser is yummy & under 500 calories. I'm able to eat this & skip the chips.
 
We went to Sugar Farm Catfish in the Barn....& I had dessert.
 
 
I made these Crescent Cinnamon Rolls this past Saturday for breakfast.
 
This was the girls at Olympic on Mother's Day. Usually when we go there, I have Salad, Grilled Chicken Pita, & Fries. I eat all of my salad & only 1/2 of everything else.

We had dessert on Mother's Day, Crème Brulee. EEEEKKKKKKK.....it was yummy, but that's dessert twice within the same week. I must not do that!

At Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Monday, I was able to make a pretty healthy decision: Bunless Burger! I also only ate the fries you see plus 4 more, & that was it!
 

 Tuesday for lunch, I had the Thai Chicken Salad at Issy's. We also had fried pickle app, but I only ate one. I also only ate 1/2 this salad & saved the rest for another day.
 
 The Workout

 
I am doing okish with my workouts.....
 
Try to do my nice long walks to the Post Office....but I haven't gotten as many of these in as I have needed to.

Starting this past Monday, I am back to parking in the Post Office parking lot & walk all the way to that tan building on the corner up there.
 
Walking Half Marathon Training Plan + Squats & Abs Challenge
 
I got a little behind on my Squats & Abs Challenge....so what I really did is a little off with either me doing nothing or doing more than one of the previous days to get caught up.
 
***Wednesday: Aim for 3 miles, 50 Squats, & 25 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, 40 sec plank
...actually did: 3.08 miles, 60 Squats, & 20 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, 35 sec plank
 
***Thursday: Cross Training, 45 Squats, & 30 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, 45 sec plank
...actually did: No training, 90 Squats, No Abs
 
***Friday: Rest Walking, Rest Squats, Rest Abs
...actually did: REST
 
***Saturday: Aim for 3 miles, 120 Squats, & 35 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, 50 sec plank
...actually did: Nothing = I was just plain lazy (well, I did clean)
 
***Sunday: Cross Training, 40 Squats, & 35 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, 55 sec plank
...actually did: No training, 95 Squats, No Abs
 
***Monday: Rest Training, 75 Squats, & 40 sit-ups, 17 push-ups, 1 m plank
...actually did: Rest, 120 Squats, & 55 sit-ups, 30 push-ups, 85 s plank
 
***Tuesday: Aim for 3 miles, 50 Squats, & 45 sit-ups, 18 push-ups, 1 m 5 s plank
...actually did: 3.30 miles (see pic below), 40 Squats, & 70 sit-ups, 30 push-ups, 1 m 35 s plank
